Mission: Cuba
Our support is used for the three communities who attend the congregational worship which meet in member families’ private homes. They also have a garden from which they provide fresh vegetables to the communities. Other items such as powdered milk, medicines, and pre-natal vitamins for expectant mothers are also offered, as well as financial assistance for those who have no money. Yudier Pina is the new preacher that ministers to the entire community and three (3) congregations. Recent outreach has expanded to the Jiguani and Tesarea areas.
Outreach in Mexico
Bruno Zapata, his wife, Teresa, and his daughter, Karen, have been supported by the Village church of Christ for 20 years. Bruno graduated from the Alpha Omega Bible Institute in Little Rock, AR in 2002. This institute was designed to prepare Hispanic men to become preachers in Church of Christ ministry. After graduating from the Alpha Omega Bible Institute, he was immediately hired by the Iglesia de Cristo in Hot Springs, AR.

After serving as the full- time preacher in Hot Springs for three years, Bruno was inspired to return to Mexico to start a church. Our Village Church of Christ got wind of the situation and interviewed Bruno for a possible church plant in Mexico.
Our Village Church eventually built a beautiful church building in Coatzacoalcos , as the Church had proven itself to be an established, stable congregation. Many of the original core members are still there after 20 years.

Over the years, Bruno and his family have had the opportunity to return to the Village and speak during Mission Week on two separate occasions. Bruno and Teresa and the Iglesia de Coatzacoalcos are extremely excited at the present time, as Fernando Toledo of the Gospel Chariots has introduced the Gospel Chariots to Bruno in hopes that they may share collaboratively in the future. The Village Church has been blessed with a successful mission in Mexico.
Launched in 1994 to serve the needs of South African gospel expansion.
A mobile mission with special purpose built trucks that are essentially a church “facility’ on wheels which include sleeping quarters for evangelists, a storeroom to carry literature and supplies, a stage with a sound system to preach from, a 300 seater tent, and a baptistery.
Our support is used for maintenance of the chariots, as well as providing educational material for evangelizing and training disciples in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Fernando Toledo leads this effort for the region.

Nigeria Outreach
When he came in contact with the blood of the Lamb through World Bible School at age 15 Sylvester Imogoh had no concept for what God had in store for him. He and his spouse Sandra (a converted Muslim) started what became the GOPM (Gospel Outreach Printing Ministry) in 2008 with a focus on rural Nigeria (Africa’s most populated country) to reach the lost souls that struggle in this dangerous yet dynamic country recognized for having over 6,000 churches of Christ and approximately 600,000 members.

An extremely effective ministry emerged. Locally 2,476 accounted for conversions (baptisms) were recorded and 54 new churches were planted in the six (6) counties adjacent to Auchi since 2019 (with 675 conversions and 8 churches during 2025 alone!) We are excited to join in the support of this vibrant ministry that addresses the needs of new converts and non-Christians alike (many are Muslims) in search of Truth during perilous times in one of the fastest growing populations on earth!
Village of Hope: Our Work in Bongo
For three decades, Village of Hope has cared for orphaned, abandoned, destitute, needy, trafficked and vulnerable children, as well as street-connected and underprivileged teenagers and communities across Ghana, nurturing them until they can stand on their own or are adopted into a loving family. What began as a response to an urgent need on February 24, 1996, has grown into a holistic ministry touching thousands of lives through childcare, education, healthcare, and sustainable support.
Village of Hope has:
•Cared for over 500 orphans through our childcare program.
•Provided quality, Christ-centered, and holistic basic and high school education to over 2,000 students in Ghana and beyond.
•Provided accommodation, food, counselling, healthcare and vocational skills training to 395 street-connected and underprivileged teenagers.
•Supported over 20,000 youth through our ministry to street-connected teenagers.
•Impacted over 300,000 individuals through our healthcare program in rural Ghana.Â
